Gopher now offers more extensive integration with Outlook. You may add contacts from Gopher to your Outlook address book, add Outlook calendar entries for any contact in Gopher and publish sent and received emails from Outlook to Gopher. From one toolbar in Outlook you can now add notes or memos directly into Gopher, add profiles from emails or contacts, find people in Gopher based on their email address or name and so much more! You can even setup Gopher to record all outbound emails to anyone in your database automatically.

Note: Synch to your PDA contacts and calendar entries from Gopher via this Outlook connection. Just add the contacts and/or calendar entries to Outlook from Gopher and the next time you synch Outlook with your PDA, those entries will transfer accordingly.
Simply highlight an email or a contact and click the Find Go4 Profile button to find a person in Gopher based on their name or email address. If they are not in your database, Gopher will tell you.
Simply highlight an email or a contact and click the Add Go4 Profile button to add a new record into Gopher. The following dialog allows you to change or add information before you commit the record. Makes putting new clients into Gopher a breeze!
Simply highlight an email and click the Add Go4 Memo button and a memo and note will be automatically added to Gopher with the subject of the email in the note and the entire content of the email in a memo, including attachments if you want them!
Simply highlight an email and click the Add Go4 Note button and a note will automatically be added to Gopher with the subject of the email in the note.
Simply highlight an email and click the Mark as ‘No E-Mail’ button to have that email address changed to a type X (no email) in the Gopher profile.
Simply highlight a returned email and click the Mark as ‘Invalid’ button to have that email address changed to a type I (invalid) in the Gopher profile.
Use Gopher Options to manage your settings and setup Gopher to capture outbound Outlook email.
In Gopher Options from the User Security Tab, you can set the individual options for each user.
Add go4 note – when this option is checked, each outbound email will be recorded as a note in Gopher in the profile that matches the outbound email address. The subject of the email is the subject of the note.
Add go4 memo – when this option is checked, the full text of each outbound email will be recorded as a memo and a note will also be added to Gopher in the profile that matches the outbound email address. The subject of the email is the subject of the note and the memo.
Add attachments with memo – when this option is checked, any attachments to an email will be added as attachments to a memo created by the Gopher Outlook tool.
Confirm adding memo – when this option is checked, a box will pop up to allow the user to override the automatic memo feature for that specific email.
Alerts for email addresses not in go4 – when this option is checked, Gopher will alert you if you are sending an email out to an email address that does not exist in Gopher.
Search for ‘like’ email addresses in go4 – when this option is checked, Gopher will search for similar email addresses when trying to match an email address to a profile.
