Adding a Contact from Gopher to Outlook

You may add to Outlook someone that is currently open on any tab in Gopher by using the Outlook menu on the Gopher menu bar.  You may also add to Outlook any individual or group of people by selecting the name(s) on a Find List, Bookmarks List, Target List or Matches list.  I will describe here how to add to your Outlook address book an individual on a tab by using the Outlook menu option.  However, these same options apply to the lists, just select the name (or names) on the list that you wish to add to your Outlook address book, and select the applicable Outlook option from the menu bar on the list.

When you have a name selected on any of the six tabs in Gopher, you may add that individual to your Outlook address book by clicking Outlook on the Gopher menu bar, selecting Outlook Contacts and Add Contact for ….  The contact record will open in Outlook with the information from the individual’s profile record in Gopher filled in.  You may make any needed changes and click the Save and Close option.

If you wish to view or modify the Outlook address book record for a name selected on any of the six tabs in Gopher, click Outlook on the Gopher menu bar, Outlook Contacts and Show Contact for ....  If found, the contact will open in Outlook, allowing you to make any needed changes.
